FME Smart Alerts helps online store owners turn sold-out products and price changes into new chances to sell. When an item is out of stock, shoppers can join a waitlist through a Notify Me button and a consent-ready subscribe modal that collects their email and an optional phone number. When the product returns to inventory, a branded back-in-stock email is sent to them, which can help recover lost sales. Shoppers can also watch an in-stock product and get an alert when its price drops. On product pages, live low-stock messages such as “Only X left” and a restock countdown timer on sold-out items can help build urgency and anticipation. Store managers receive email alerts when an item goes out of stock or falls below a low-stock threshold, and the inventory tracker lets you set restock dates and can update stock automatically when the restock time arrives.
